La Mega Bell Course
The Mega Bell Course La Plagne - 5 April 2026

The Mega Bell Course

The (new) completely wacky spring race for skiers and snowboarders who are just un poco crazy!

La Plagne - 5 April 2026
(Practice sessions 4th of april)

Get the clock spinning (if you can 😏) on La Plagne’s wild and wacky fun areas: the Funslope, the Riders Nation boardercross course, the Jean-Luc Crétier slalom field, the La Rossa boardercross and the obstacle course at Le Fornelet that has been specially created for the occasion.

Play to win. Or just play. In short, do whatever you do best and have a great time on your skis or snowboard!

There are two race formats to choose from (S or XL) so you can participate alongside all your favourite riders ❤️

To register
Minimum age 8 (red run level) - Limited number of places: 800 race numbers and no more!

1 race, 2 formats

🔥 The S format
🔥 The S format

3 really cool courses: an obstacle race (for the S format only), a ‘little’ run down the Funslope (but it is the longest in Europe…) and a waterslide (to dive in or not to dive in: That is the question)

Minimum age 8, minimum ski level red run (it's going to be kickass!)

Ideal if you want to race with your family, if you are a group of skiers and snowboarders of different levels or if you just want to have time to keep on riding in the afternoon once you have crossed the finish line (and downed your burger at The Roster)

The race starts on the 5th of April 2026 at whatever time you want * (but we recommend you start at 9.30am maximum to finish just when you start to feel peckish)

🔥🔥🔥 The XL format
🔥🔥🔥 The XL format

5 really fun courses: 2 races shared with the S format (but a more difficult version, of course) + 3 additional courses where you can really set yourself apart from your rivals (a giant slalom and two pretty demanding boarder crosses!)

Minimum age 12, minimum ski level black run (it's going to be tough!)

Ideal for some fierce competition with your buddies, for an outstanding inter-generational challenge or just to explore every corner of the ski area in an original and very colourful way

The race is on the 5th of April 2026 starting at whatever time you want * (but we recommend you set off at 9.30am at the latest so that you finish before you get too hungry…)

*Please wait until we are ready before you start… We would ask you not to start until 9am so we can just add the finishing touches and have a coffee, because it’s going to be a very energetic day for us as well as for you!

Some important information before you get started

  • The Mega Bell Course is 1 race, and 2 formats (S = easier; XL = harder). Take a look at the challenges that await you before confirming your choice (note: you will not be able to change your bib once your registration is finalized).
  • Are you registering a minor? Be sure to check the parental waiver box.
  • Don’t forget to check the box “Add a ski pass” if you don’t already have a valid La Plagne or Paradiski pass for the big day! Otherwise, you won’t be able to use the ski lifts (and the race might take muuuuch longer…)
  • Do you want to support a mega beautiful cause? Take advantage of your registration to make a donation of €1 to the Passerelle association, which provides food assistance and moral support to about thirty families in need in the canton of Aime. Passerelle is affiliated with the Savoie Food Bank (it's reliable and serious!)
  • We will also ask you from which village you wish to start the race (Plagne Centre, Plagne Bellecôte, Montchavin, Montalbert, or Champagny-en-Vanoise). Take your time to choose the *right* village (= the one where you will be staying, or the one where you intend to park if you are coming for the day). You have until Wednesday, April 1, at 12 PM to change your choice.
  • The bibs and transponders can be picked up between Wednesday, April 1 and Sunday, April 5, 2026, at the tourist offices during opening hours: from Montchavin-Les Coches, Montalbert, Champagny-en-Vanoise, and the Valley (in Aime.) In Plagne Centre, you can pick up your bib at the tourist office from Wednesday, April 1 to Friday, April 3. On Sunday, April 5, starting at 8:00 AM, you can collect your bib at the Jean-Luc Crétier stadium, Plagne Centre (in the village of La Mega Bell Course). Make sure to choose the right tourist office when you register to ensure that your personalized bib is waiting for you in the right place!
  • It will also be possible to collect the bib of another participant, upon presentation of a copy of their ID and the registration confirmation email. Be smart: make sure to choose the same village to collect your bibs when you register…
  • Are you coming for the day? In that case (and only in that case), it will be possible to collect your bib at Plagne Centre, just before you set off. Make sure to choose "Plagne Centre" as your departure village when you register.
  • Do you need a complete package with bib + accommodation? Take a look at our Mega Great Offers right here!
  • 📷 A team of photographers will be on hand at the Mega Bell Course to capture the best of the Grand Bain and Tout là-haut courses... An email will be sent to you to download your free souvenir photo.
